CIARA

Hey, I’m Ciara! I’m the founder of South Shore Paddle Co. & Wicked Om Yoga. I’m so excited you’re here!

Growing up, if there was a body of water nearby, I was in it (my parents called me a little fish). So it’s no surprise that when a friend introduced me to SUP yoga in 2015, I took to it like a fish to water. It’s since become my happy place. I love that paddleboard yoga teaches you to trust that you are more than capable of doing hard things. I love the energy of the water and feeling at one with the ocean. I can’t wait to share that with you.

In addition to balancing on a paddleboard, you’ll find me balancing: two girls under five, two dogs, a husband, and a yoga school.

WHAT SETS US APART

  • 01 / NOURISHING

    All of our classes provide a nourishing experience for our students and we are with you every step of the way. Regardless if you are new to paddleboarding or yoga, we make sure you are comfortable on land and on the board. We believe that anyone, regardless of their skill level, can have an incredible paddleboard yoga experience. We are so incredibly excited to meet you!

  • 02/ EMBODIMENT

    We fully believe in embodying the practice of yoga - on and off the mat (or board in this case!). Our classes allow you to connect with nature in the best way. Feel the energy of the water beneath you, the air around you and allow your self to breathe in the salty, fresh air. After every practice, you’ll leave with a little more knowledge of yoga, your breath and mindfulness - a perfect way to grow your practice off the mat, too!

  • 03/ HOLISTIC

    Our goal for every class is to provide you with a nourishing experience that moves so far beyond just paddleboarding and yoga. Our signature class will guide you in movement, breath and meditation - creating the ultimate holistic experience on the water.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

  • I love Moscow mules in the summer. There’s something so incredibly refreshing about ginger beer and lime in the summer (it’s gorgeous as a mocktail, too!)

  • I love heading to the beach after 4pm - my husband is normally done with work so we’ll pack up the girls, our beach essentials and grab dinner to enjoy together. The beach is nearly empty, the water is gorgeous after a warm day and it’s delightful to just be with my family during this time.

  • Without a doubt, VESL paddle boards are my absolute favorite board. They are so easy to carry and absolutely stunning (plus incredibly easy to maneuver no matter where you’re paddling!)
